Crazy Beautiful

So the guys went off for yet another adrenelin rush. As if sky diving and canyon swinging wasn’t enough. Right, where the hell was I when God was handing out the passion for thrill seeking? On the internet or fake tanning no doubt. So yeah anyway, I went solo for the morning and took a drive. Solo dancing, on the loose - on my own. I just drove. And drove. And ended up in possibly the most beautiful spot I’ve seen in New Zealand so far. Not sure whether it was so beautiful because it was *so beautiful* or whether it was so beautiful because I was on my own (sorry guys - you’re great company but sometimes a girl just needs to be on her own - well, with Jason Mraz - with time to reflect.)

So yeah, there I was, on my own at Coronet Point (from what I can make out it‘s a redundant ski spot). Drove through the snowy hills, got out, crunched about on the snow. Drove through the snowy hills, got out, crunched about on the snow. Drove through more snowy hills, got out, crunched about on the snow. It was crazy beautiful.

It’s exactly what I needed. Exactly. This place *is* beautiful. I wish it hadn’t taken me so long to really realise.
