LL Cool B (Lady Lazer Cool Babski)

This is Lady Lazer Babski. OUR NEW (Ford Lazer) CAR! Yeah, I know. How cool?

So after buying the car from the back packers car fair in Auckland in about 20 minutes flat, we headed to the hostel to pick up new friend Welsh Eve. Then we hit the road, 2 hours North to Whangarei. Driving again rules. It's just like being in England. You drive on the same side, everything looks the same and the weather is just as terrible. It rained non-stop.

Rocked up at a strange hostel which is basically just a comfy, big house belonging to a middle aged couple (and their Golden Retriever Sage, I'm happy) who let you crash. The man looks just like Noel Edmonds and his wife is called Noelle, which span me right out. For a while there I didn't quite know who was who. But it's cosy and warm and like being in a home, with a BATH and a space for Lady Lazer Babski right outside the front door. Perfecto.

Today it POURED. Lady Lazer Babski, who runs like a dream, also leaks like a nightmare so it was rather like driving around in an aqua park. But we checked out the local clock museum (how jealous are you?), waterfalls and both of the town's supermarkets (control yourself, green eyes.) So yeah. Pretty eventful.
